After having been in business on Wellesley Island for 5 years, JB Landscaping decided that an online presence was key to their next stage of growth. They came to us with a rough idea of the brand feel they wanted, as well as some areas of business they'd like to use the project to expand into.
JB Landscaping had long been successful in their area doing residential lawncare jobs, but wanted to add more high-ticket jobs to their schedule. Things like stonework, patios, sod installs, and more. Successfully booking these projects comes down to trust and visibility, and their website was just the right thing to help them achieve that.
The first step in the project was helping to define how JB Landscaping wanted their brand to feel. It was important that the brand be professional and trustworthy, but maintain the sense that they (put simply) get stuff done. JB Landscaping's core values are great work, kept promises, and no cutting corners. The brand we delivered evokes a sense of just that.
With their brand identity established, the next step was to create website mockups that reflected it. We developed these mockups according to the needs and interests we had discussed in our meetings with the owner. The idea was for the site to be very concise, as well as highlighting the types of projects that they wanted to find more of.
In the production and delivery phase, we used the final approved mockups as the blueprint for the site's construction. We optimized the site for the load times, user experience, and SEO keywords. In the end, the site we delivered suited the business's needs and the owner's wants effectively, giving JB's customers a place to learn more about them and their services online
